the painting I did for my mum for Christmas. acrylic on 16x20" boxcanvas.

really quite pleased with it (at least I managed to convince myself I'm not a one-trick pony lol). less than half a year ago I never would have considered I could have pulled this off, let alone in acrylic...!

though of course it's not perfect... there are certain things that bug me and I tried to fix them but it didn't quite work. Plus I could have gone more detailed if I had tried hard enough. I spent 25 hours on it which is not a lot if you think about it.

also, as you can see I have not placed my watermark over the cat himself... the values in the painting made it impossible to have either a light or dark watermark that actually showed up in its entirety. if anyone even considers stealing this I will be seriously pissed and trust me, you don't want to know me when I'm really angered. have a bit of decency and self-worth, go and do something constructive with your time and learn to make your own art. that's real satisfaction, not the hollow kind you'll get from passing someone else's work off as your own.
