a bit of an experiment that turned out quite nicely, haven't painted horses in a little while!
my ref was a gorgeous photo of ~the-other1's Friesian mare Minke, and her new filly. [link] (Thanks so much for letting me paint them!) I just adored the photo and it needed to be painted... even tho I am trying to concentrate on birds at the moment. oils on 10x14" canvas paper. Can't think of an appropriate and non-cheesy title, so I chose a song that I love at the moment instead. |
