acrylic on something like 12x16" boxcanvas (can't remember the exact dimensions) It's for my nan for Xmas...

My first proper canvas painting. It's all painted round the edges and everything. (always wanted to do that)

It's not perfect, there are flaws but overall I am happy with it. Mostly what bugs me is the fact that it perhaps looks more like water splashes than snow. But you try painting snow. ;P

fyi - the backlit/'white' areas are more of a very pale yellow in person.

one thing to do before the 25th crossed off the list. 3 more to go!
