phew!! just in time...

This is my friend's pony Maisie, done for her birthday (which is today) I literally just finished it. It made an awesome print. I'm taking it along to her in a couple of hours, along with some prints of the photos I took of her kittens. Sadly she is still in hospital so I hope this cheers her up. I still have to make her a plush bunny as well, just haven't had time.

Anyway this has been ongoing for a while, and I think it came out pretty well considering it started out as just a practice. The bg and hay is meant to be 'stylised' btw, in fact the whole picture is a bit. so no comments about it being messy thx :D

I'm sure your friend will be very happy with this one! You've done a great job, it really looks like a photograph. I had to look at the category to see if it was photo manipulation or not! I have deep respect for everyone who is this good at digital art...

Wow you could hardly tell the difference between the photo horse and this one! The coat is so amazingly detailed it's not even funny. Splendid job. :clap:

It's beautiful! I love the colours, the whole thing is very stylised. You did a good job on the details too, and I love messiness in paintings, perfection doesn't equal beauty in my opinion!
