Pencil study/sketch of a Little Owl. From a photo I took at the weekend [link] (Such a small cute thing!)

I'm still doing the 100 Birds challenge, but I'm doing 100 pages now (I passed 100 individually drawn birds, but felt I hadn't studied them in enough depth). This is page 31.
(As always all my birds and everything else that I don't post at DA can be seen in my artblog)

Alternatively titled "Little Wol" as I seem to be mostly incapable of typing the word owl correctly, lol

Do you know if this is a burrowing owl? The only owl that comes to mind for me when I see him. xD No matter this is a really nice drawing and he is really cute!

Aww, what a cutie! I really like how you incorporated just the branch and the owl and not other leaves that may distract the viewer.

Really nicely done. My favs are the eyes. I can feel how this owl looks right into my eye. Great job :)
